In the new age of the communication between the Chinese culture and foreign culture, how can translation help Chinese culture step into the global society has become an important topic. There exit many common features of cross-cultural interpretation in the translations of "A Brief History of Chinese Philosophy" and "Life and Death are Wearing Me out". The paper compares the translations of the two books and tries to explore and summarize these features so as to provide an effective reference for the translation of Chinese literature and culture.
