Combined with the basic features and requirements of the Structural Experiment and Method of postgraduate teaching course, this paper, the paper discusses the major problems of the course that affect the teaching quality improvement in the teaching process, proposing the new curriculum teaching mode consisting of four parts,which are preliminary study, design training, innovative practice and performance evaluation. The results show that the application of this teaching method could improve the innovation ability of the graduate students significantly.
