With the development of college English education, medical college students have made progress in English study. But the students' motivation of learning English is relatively weak. This paper intends to explore the ways English teachers affect medical majors' motivation. A conclusion is drawn after investigations into the factors that influence students' motivation and the basic qualities of English teachers stimulating students' motivation.
