Facing the 21th Century requirement of critical literacy in oral English, this paper analyzes the relationship between oral English and critical literacy, and makes a literature review on relevant studies. It proposes the introduction of subject content, group activity, public speech sample and presentation, introduction and presentation of classic literary works in Listenning-Speaking course as teching strategies for promoting the students' critical literacy in oral English.
