Translation direction is a vital working factor to acceptability and cultural transmissioncapacity of translated works. The paper probes into the relation between translation direction and acceptability and cultural transmission capacity of translated works, proposes that classic translaiton should enhance the national and international cooperation, transfer from the present unidirection translation to the comninaiton of both translation directions to advance interculatual communicaiton and the cultural transmission of Chinese classics.Some advices are provided for the global cultural transmission strategy of Chinese classics.
