The report of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly puts forward the grand goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way by 2020.The report of the 19th National Congress pointed out that we must adhere to precise poverty alleviation. Precision poverty alleviation is the Strategic Guide to win the battle against poverty under the new situation. As an important part of poverty alleviation through education, the work of student aid in Colleges and Universities should be combined with the precise poverty alleviation thought in the national poverty alleviation and development. Based on the background of precise poverty alleviation, take Hebei University of Engineering as an example, this paper analyses the current situation and existing problems of the development of student financial aid work in Colleges and universities in China, and puts forward the promotion strategies of student financial aid work in Colleges and universities from the perspective of precise poverty alleviation, with a view to provide useful reference for poverty alleviation work in education in China.
