Abstract:Under the background of the education quality evaluation of urban planning in Colleges and universities carried out by the urban planning professional evaluation committee, this study aims at the problems of curriculum transformation and connection in the teaching process of urban and rural planning professional courses, and uses the "planning sinking" and the teaching mode of integration of architecture and planning in the basic core curriculum system of urban and rural planning professional to change the original teaching mode of "first building, then planning" and makes the planning course sink. In the first grade, the integration of architecture and planning is realized. The urban space thinking is established to lay a solid foundation for the senior students to learn, improve the students' ability to creatively and reasonably solve problems in the process of understanding the real complex urban problems, so as to improve the teaching quality.
