Systematic holistic education for talent cultivation of "foreign language plus"in local universities can effectively help solve the main problems in the development of foreign language education, which stimulates students' harmonious, comprehensive, and sustainable development and meets the needs of the nation in the new era. This article analyzes the feasibility of talent cultivation of "foreign language plus"under the guidance of holistic education in local universities,and explores some reasonable measures, and offers case study of talent cultivation of "foreign language plus"driven by collaborative innovation of government, industry, education, research and application under the guidance of holistic education.
