Abstract:In order to cope with the new opportunities and challenges faced by the new technological revolution and industrial transformation, the Ministry of Education put forward the "new engineering concept" to promote the reform and development of college education. The article uses the fourth-year curriculum design of Hebei University of Engineering as an undergraduate course for teaching experiment. It attempts to proceed from the new engineering concept, combined with the current urban development status and social concerns, to carry out topic setting, task requirements and teaching process arrangements to guide students in innovative urban design., With a view to helping students expand professional knowledge, transform design thinking, and improve comprehensive quality.
