The spirit of the 129th Division is an important embodiment of the revolutionary spirit of the Communist Party of China during the Anti-Japanese War, and also the main support of the red culture in Handan. The spiritual connotation of "not being afraid of difficulties, sacrifice, brave to take responsibility and victory" has a profound value implication for cultivating college students' patriotic feelings, carrying forward the spirit of struggle, enhancing the fighting ability, tempering the character of responsibility, and cultivating the spirit of innovation. To integrate the spirit of the 129th Division into the ideological and political education, we should adhere to value guidance, carry forward characteristic culture, form synergistic effects, and continue to explore the teaching reform of ideological and political courses, campus culture construction and curriculum ideological and political education.
