Abstract:Government short video is a new mode of government communication actively explored by the government. How to operate is the first issue. Based on the 5W1F model, this paper combs the unique communication characteristics of short video, and constructs an index system to measure the operation effect of government short video, thus putting forward three typical application scenarios and matching operation strategies, namely, 'brand publicity and image building', 'knowledge sharing and public opinion guidance', and 'activity promotion and user interaction'. Supplemented by the supporting platform and mechanism, the strategies try to make the government short video have stronger communication power, guidance power, influence and credibility.
