Higher education plays an important role in cultivating talents, and the talent cultivation mode is quite essential. Hebei University of Engineering, with the purpose of furthering the talent cultivation mode reform, puts forward creatively a new "Six in One" talent cultivation mode. This new mode, led by Big Engineering Culture, which is an organic system of six radiating elements, namely, innovation and entrepreneurship, curriculum and teaching reform, student competition, collaboration with other social organizations, as well as physical and mental health education, has made breakthroughs in the aspects of education platform, talent cultivation quality, teachers’ teaching ability, and the application of teaching results, thus promoting the overall improvement of education and teaching quality in Hebei University of Engineering.
