The traditional model of treating personal information as rights and interests is no longer sufficient to meet the requirements of safeguarding personal information security, and it is necessary to elevate personal information to a fundamental right for protection in the constitutional dimension. To establish the right to personal information with human dignity and freedom as the core, the state needs to assume the corresponding protection obligations. To be specific, firstly, the status of the right to personal information as a fundamental right should be strengthened and the corresponding legal system for personal information protection should be improved. Secondly, the specialized agencies should perform their duties and play their roles in the protection of personal information in accordance with the law. Finally, the judiciary should play a role as the "last line of defense" and improve the judicial remedy channels for the right to personal information.
