As an important part of Xi Jinping’s Economic Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era, the notion of promoting rural revitalization with the people as the centre and achieving common prosperity for all people is a profound interpretation and contemporary response to the idea of adhering to people-centred development, and has its own realistic logic. That is, it responds to the new changes in China’s national conditions in the new era, applies to the changes in the main contradictions in China’s society in the new era, and fits the Communist Party of China’s distinctive tenet of serving the people wholeheartedly. In order to continue to promote people-centred rural revitalization unswervingly in the new era, we should insist that the Party organization becomes the strong support for rural revitalization, stimulate the main force of the rural masses to participate in rural revitalization, build and improve a revitalization model oriented to the needs of the masses, promote and broaden social forces to help rural revitalization, help the masses explore new ways of revitalization for sustainable development, and effectively solve the difficult problems confronted by the rural masses on their way to getting rich. In this sense, the fundamental and key points can be guaranteed in the process of rural revitalization, thus making rural areas suitable to live and work in and promoting the prosperity of farmers.
