Abstract:The integration of theoretical and practical aspects in ideological and political theory courses in universities requires continuous exploration and improvement of the form and effectiveness of practical teaching. In order to achieve the expected effect of practical teaching, we must always adhere to the guidance of Marxist epistemology to build a practical pattern of comprehensive ideological and political education. In this sense, it is suggested that we should refer to constructivism and follow the tendency of the internet development. In this way, the goal level and activity system of practical teaching can be decided on the basis of accurate grasp of the theoretical logic of course materials. Therefore, the teaching stages are intertwined logically. In other words, the following stages are closely linked, such as the acquisition of abstract theoretical knowledge, the context of perception knowledge, the empathy connected to the dialogue on identity, emotion, and thinking via the combination of reasoning and sensibility, thereby generating the stage of students' output and putting forwards solutions. In this approach, the teaching goals, such as students' mastery of theoretical knowledge, improvement of thinking ability, and generation of conceptions and values, can be achieved. Furthermore, in order to improve teaching effectiveness, this study explores a four-step practical teaching model in the context of comprehensive ideological and political education. Put simply, this model is composed of the following four sequential steps, namely, using knowledge to guide emotions, communicating ideas with emotions, promoting actions with intentions, and applying knowledge with actions. Accordingly these steps are involved in the extension of theoretical class gradually and the practical teaching effect has been improved.
