Abstract:New requirements for rural revitalization has been put forward under the goal of common prosperity, and with rural revitalization pushed forward in an all-round way, the demand for talents is gradually increasing. Government recruitment, project training, and enterprise talent training can only meet the temporary needs. In this sense, it is a long-term duty of colleges and universities to cultivate and provide talents for rural revitalization. However, there are many problems existing in the present cultivation system, such as the inadaptability to new situation and changes, the neglect of the construction of talent training system for rural revitalization, the old-fashioned training mode without much practice, the weakened agricultural disciplines, etc. Accordingly, this paper proposes three suggestions. As a first approximation, Universities should firmly adhere to a core conception of rooting in the grassroots and serving the urban areas. Then, they should optimize the layout of disciplines to connect to rural industrial chains. Next, Universities should set a mode of cultivating talents with application skills, thus realizing the deep integration of governments, universities, and enterprises via multi-platform talent cultivation.
