It is a fine tradition and unique advantage of the Communist Party of China to attach great importance to the cultivation of party spirit. During the Yan’an period, in the face of the severe and complex revolutionary situation and the prominent problems within the Party, the Communist Party of China, on the basis of strengthening theoretical learning, took enhancing party-spirit practice as the key and perfecting the party education system as the guarantee. In this vein, the Party-spirit cultivation of Party members was improved with multi-measures in all aspects, thus providing a powerful guarantee of the Party-member talent pool for promoting the victory of the national democratic revolution. The successful practice of the Communist Party of China in enhancing the Party-spirit cultivation of its members during the Yan’an period has provided important inspirations for strengthening the Party-spirit cultivation of Party members in the new era.
